Community

St. Christopher’s seeks to know and love God more deeply through our joyful worship, welcoming community and service to the world.

Fellowship

The Fellowship ministry enriches our church life by providing the opportunity to gather and break bread together. Fellowship volunteers help with setting up, serving, cleaning, and, most importantly, welcoming folks into the parish hall after Sunday service. There is no need to cook or purchase food. Fellowship volunteers also help with special events as needed from time to time.

Our community thrives on the bonds we create, and your presence would truly enhance the warmth and camaraderie we share. We believe that together, we can create meaningful memories and build lasting connections.

If this is your ministry or you would like more information, please contact Robyn Ferguson or the office.

Pastoral Assistance Ministry

This ministry strives to help our church family in times of need.  The PAM may provide meals, give rides to appointments or for errands, send cards or flowers, raise prayers, offer companionship after an illness, or fill other needs that may arise.  If you need pastoral assistance, please email Rev. Alyssa at rector@stchristophersaustin.org.

St. Christopher’s Buildings & Grounds

With the guidance of our Junior Warden, this ministry serves to lovingly preserve, maintain, and improve the facilities, gardens, and grounds of our campus on The Hill.

Daughters of the King

Daughters of the King. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, the vision of the Daughters of the King is to know Jesus Christ, to make Him known to others, and to become reflections of God’s love throughout the world. The DOK is an order of prayer, service, and evangelism both at St. Christophers and worldwide.

St. Christopher's Men's Group

The men of St. Christopher’s serve the community by facilitating Fellowship for “Fifth Sundays” and for special occasions. Shrove Tuesday pancakes, a spring crawfish boil, the church’s birthday celebration in July, and turkeys for Thanksgiving are a big part of this ministry. The men also gather monthly for breakfast & fellowship before Sunday service.

The Well

The Well began as a women’s support group on Zoom during Covid. Our activities will vary from season to season. We will do book studies, we will have guest speakers, we will have “game nights,” we will eat, we will do what the Spirit moves us to do as we grow together in Christ. Please join us.

The Gathering

The Gathering is an opportunity for members and guests to come together once a month and do something together in our Austin community. We might go out to eat, go listen to music, take a tour, walk a labyrinth, visit the Wildflower Center. It’s an opportunity to relax, invite friends or neighbors, and enjoy each other’s company. It’s a chance to get to know the other members of St. Christopher’s. Look for announcements in The Connection and in the church bulletin.
