Welcome to St. Christopher's Episcopal Church ...
Sunday, August 30, is the 14th Sunday following Pentecost. Adult Sunday School with Father Bo begins at 9 am in the Adult Classroom. Children's Sunday School begins at 9:30 am and Worship Service at 10 am. You are invited to join us in the Parish Hall immediately following services for delightful company, delicious refreshments and excellent Organic, Fair Trade coffee. Our coffee is one of our Outreach Ministries. Our refreshments this Sunday are provided by the Gentlemen of the Church.
As our congregation is growing, if you are a member, please consider parking along the street so our guests will have plenty of room.
Choir rehearsal is this Wednesday, September 2 at 7 pm in the Sanctuary. Please join us as we make "a joyful noise unto the Lord".
We currently have an average Sunday attendance of about 85 - 90 members and we are growing. We are a small but healthy and inclusive congregation. We invite you to come and experience all that this parish family has to offer. We have something for everyone and especially for children. Whether your gift is teaching children or helping with worship services or singing in the choir, we have a place for you at St. Christopher's. And, you are more than welcome just to come and worship with us.
The church sits on a small hill looking over the Barton Creek Preserve giving us a spectacular view of the surrounding area. We are continuing to enhance the beauty of the site with plantings of native Texas wildflowers. One of most popular areas of the church is the walking trail, which depicts the Stations of the Cross and is used during our Good Friday service. There is always a breeze up on the hill, reminding us of the presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives.
Please feel free to join us at our Sunday Service at 10:00 am or contact me with any questions. We hope you will visit and find a home here.
